If job hunting is at the top of your New Year’s Resolution list for 2016, here’s some interesting news: career website Glassdoor has just released its list of the 50 best companies to work for in the United States.
The list, which Glassdoor has been releasing annually for the past eight years, ranks companies based on reviews written by employees.
This year, Airbnb dethroned Google to claim the top spot, while Bain & Company placed in second and Guidewire ranked third. Several other tech companies placed in the top 20 as well, with Facebook at number five, LinkedIn at number six, Google at number eight, and Adobe at number 19.
“If I wake up in the morning and have a bad day, I know I’m going to be surrounded by people who collaborate together, people who are supportive, people who have a smile on their face,” Keau Katsunuma, operations manager for Airbnb, said in a video produced by Glassdoor.
