Rob Gronkowski proved that you’re never too old (or too big) to go trick-or-treating, as the 6-foot-6 tight end showed up for some candy and product placement on Friday night’s episode of The Late Show.
Just as Stephen Colbert was going to reveal his solution to the crisis in the Middle East, some trick-or-treaters showed up at his door. One very large trick-or-treater, dressed as Master Chief from the Halo franchise, came by to hand out some copies of Halo 5: Guardians.
“Hold on, you can’t just come on my show and do product placement for Halo 5: Guardians,” Colbert said before turning to the camera and saying: “Now exclusively for Microsoft Xbox One.”
The New England Patriots tight end then revealed his identity before he and Colbert did some more Halo promotion, handing out more copies of the game to the trick-or-treaters.
Watch the clip below for some unsubtle product placement and to hear Colbert tell Gronk he “spanked the Dolphins.”
