Ellen Page once considered being a stand-up comedian. TheFreeheld star appeared on Tuesday night’s episode of Conan to unveil a tape she posted online when she was 23 years old.
With the assistance of comedian Steve Agee, Page filmed herself rather than endure the hostility she might have faced had she hit the stage.
“I posted it on YouTube,” Page told host Conan O’Brien. “Clearly it was a submission for your show. I was about 23. So it’s taken a while.”
