A clip from a soon-to-be-released VICE documentary shows President Obama being introduced to a group of inmates when he became the first sitting president to visit a federal jail.
The president greets the group with a “How y’all doing?” and proceeds to shake hands with each of them.
President Obama made history in July, becoming the first sitting president to visit a federal penitentiary.
Airing Sunday, the VICE on HBO special report Fixing the System follows the president on his tour of El Reno Federal Correctional Institution in Oklahoma.
