What are Hollywood’s favorite TV shows?
That’s what The Hollywood Reporter sought to find out when it interviewed more than 2,800 people in the entertainment industry , including actors, directors and producers, about their favorite show. THR says this poll isn’t about the best television shows of all time, rather, “This poll is strictly about favorite shows, the programs people in Hollywood hold nearest to their hearts.”
The list ended up as a smattering of new shows and old, with everything from South Park to The Dick Van Dyke Show . Desperate Housewives snuck in at No. 100.
There were a few surprises from the list (The Wire ranked lower than The Big Bang Theory ?), but with that in mind, here are the Top 10:
1. Friends
2. Breaking Bad
3. The X-Files
4. Game of Thrones
5. Seinfeld
6. The Sopranos
7. Saturday Night Live
8. I Love Lucy
9. Mad Men
10. The Simpsons
