Paul Feig decided to disrupt Twitter by dropping this bombshell: Thor himself, Chris Hemsworth, is going to be in the director’s female-led reboot of Ghostbusters. Who will he be? Feig says he’ll be the ladies’ receptionist.
Move aside, Annie Potts! Hemsworth is the latest addition in the gender-flipped reimagining that has the four titular spectre-fighters be women instead of dudes. The actor was just in Avengers: Age of Ultron last May and will next be seen in the Ed Helms-starred Vacation remake out July 29.
Feig’s Ghostbusters, starring Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Leslie Jones, and Kate McKinnon, is slated to be released July 2016.
