Tahrir Square, Cairo, Egypt. February 3, 2011.
“This was the second day of large scale clashes between anti-government protesters and Mubarak supporters. It was also the beginning of a systematic campaign to attack journalists. I had spent the night trapped in Tahrir, because it was surrounded by angry mobs who would attack journalists and anyone they deemed to be against the government. This was in the early morning on a roof that the protesters had taken over.”
