Seth Meyers to Host Pre-Super Bowl NFL Honors

1 minute read

Late Night host Seth Meyers will try out another NBC show for an evening when he hosts the NFL Honors later this month. It won’t be the comedian’s first experience helming a sports-focused awards show: Meyers previously hosted ESPN’s ESPY Awards in 2010 and 2011.

The show, now in its fourth year, honors players with awards like Defensive Rookie of the Year and Performance Play of the Year. It will air the evening before the Super Bowl to kick off a football-filled weekend.

Alec Baldwin hosted the first three NFL Honors shows, which each took place in that year’s Super Bowl host city. The 2015 show will be held in Phoenix, Arizona and will air on NBC Jan. 31 at 9 p.m.
