Yes, This Is a Photo of Kevin Spacey Dressed as Veep’s Selina Meyer

1 minute read

If you’ve ever wanted to know what House of Cards’ Frank Underwood looks like in drag, today is your lucky day. And if you wish Selina Meyer would take her infiltration of Washington’s boys’ club a little more literally, then you’re also going to dig the new cover of our sister publication, Entertainment Weekly.

To celebrate its cover story about the 25 Best Characters on TV, the magazine asked the actors behind two of D.C.’s most memorable fictional leaders to trade roles — and outfits. The result, as you can see above, is impressively weird.

The actual story, if you can manage to look away from the cover, has some insight, too: Julia Louis-Dreyfus dishes about her show’s careful use of vulgarity (“We definitely do “f—” counts in the show because, honestly, if it’s too much it’s too much”), while Kevin Spacey shares his spot-on impression of Morgan Freeman (“anything he says [can] sound like poetry. If you take … just the right amount … of pauses”).
