For the last 52 years, Chicago has kicked off its St. Patrick’s Day celebrations by dying the Chicago River a bright green. The ceremonial greening of the river took place Saturday morning at 9:30, and YouTuber Peter Tsai posted this awesome 30-second time-lapse video showing the process from start to finish.
