Filmmaker Cat Del Buono has produced a handy little video to help women not get raped. Finally!
The 3-minute satire emphasizes the ridiculous things society tells women they should avoid, like wearing short skirts or using public restrooms, so they’re not attacked. According to the description:
This satirical video was inspired by advice posted on college websites that tell women how to avoid being raped. It speaks to the absurdity of placing responsibility and blame on the victim.
Maybe we should teach people how not to be rapists as opposed to how not to be raped?
