University at Buffalo

Buffalo, NYwww.buffalo.edu
The University at Buffalo, commonly known as UB, is a major public research university and part of the State University of New York system. It refers to itself as "the largest and most comprehensive campus" in the SUNY system. The school has about 20,000 undergraduate students, most of whom flock to business, social services, engineering and psychology courses. UB is made up of three campuses connected by free shuttles and buses. The student body is relatively diverse, and about half of attendees receive federal loans. The school has more than a dozen NCAA Division I teams. While UB's home city of Buffalo has a reputation for some legendary snowfalls, the university is quick to point out that it also enjoys sunny summers and cool autumns featuring gorgeous foliage. When not on campus, students can hang out in the Buffalo-Niagara region, which is packed with art galleries, coffeehouses, and, yes, places to get some delicious chicken wings.
