Cleveland, OHwww.case.edu
Case Western Reserve University, in Cleveland, Ohio, is a private research university with about 5,000 undergraduates and 6,500 grad students. The university's most popular undergraduate majors include engineering, the sciences, and economics, although its offerings are diverse, with close to 100 majors and minors. A typical day on campus might consist of going to class, studying, playing computer games or hanging out with friends, perhaps an extracurricular activity, and then logging in more study time before hitting the sack. Especially for pre-meds and engineers, the workload at Case will pile up fast if students don't stay on top of it. In their spare time, students can participate in more than 200 student organizations, intramural and club sports, and 17 NCAA Division III varsity athletics teams. For students looking to venture off campus, the city of Cleveland offers great restaurants, shopping, professional sporting events, and attractions including the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
