The Independent Senator from Vermont is the only member of the chamber who proudly identifies himself as a socialist, and on Twitter he’s a loud conscience for liberal principles. He highlights poverty statistics, tweaks his colleagues for voting against veterans’ benefits and slams the industrialist Koch brothers for their political spending.
