James and Dave Franco discuss brotherhood and making their first movie together

It’s true: the younger Franco is selective about the roles he chooses, which he says is a conscious effort to pave his own path and differentiate himself creatively from his brother. But the two actors teamed up for a feature film for the first time in The Disaster Artist, directed by and starring James as the eccentric writer-director Tommy Wiseau, who helmed the iconically bad cult classic movie The Room. As the Francos explain, it took exactly the right project to bring them together.
