I always like to write from a place that begins with the personal, because I think personal stories are universal, and then see what it has in store for me. And just remember, okay? You're my best thing. You know, in my 20s, I think I was disappointed because I was looking around at this world of romance and I was nowhere to be found. It was hook up culture and people moving on from each other quicker than you could say, go. And. And it surprised me. What what dating wasn't as much as what dating was. And so I think that I really, um, had such high hopes for entering the romantic world when I was younger, and it just and that's one of the reasons I think girls was a little bit more romantically cynical.

And I think being in my 30s and learning new definitions of romance. I could go and read your mind. I came here to find myself. A lot of stuff went down in New York. My ex-boyfriend is living with another woman right now. Oh my God. You want me to murder them? Yeah. I want you to cut their heads off and sew them back on. I think that Lena does such an amazing job writing stuff that feels real. And then like even the dialogue of, like, when we first meet or we're walking to the apartment, it just sounded so real, like just two people, like, kind of flirting, like wondering if they were flirting, and that's all.

Lena. That was like my favorite things about the show was how, um, it's just not shy about, like, the messiness of life and the messiness of relationships and, um, like, lets you sit in kind of the awkward moments and, uh, and. Yeah, just like the more like the difficult parts of it as well. You know. My thing is that I love anyone who I feel like is working hard to become a better, more engaged, more evolved version of themselves. I don't need someone to be perfectly together and know what they're doing all the time and never make a mistake. And I love my own friend. The messiness of my friends.

I love the messiness of my family. And on a good day, I even love the messiness of myself.
