[ MUSIC ] Does it seem like the holiday season starts earlier every year? Well, if we wait until after Thanksgiving to start your shopping it might already be too late. Here to tell us more is financial expert Jill Slessinger. Thanks so much for joining us. Great to be with you. Well, nobody wants to buy too early and miss a sale so when will prices be lowest? Well according to Adobe Digital Index, as much as you may hold your nose and hate it. Thanksgiving Day should be the best day for deals. According to their research, a 27 % discount on average on Thanksgiving Day Now of course this is for online and many of the stores are going to be releasing deals along the way.

But Thanksgiving day could be pretty lucrative, followed by Black Friday and of course Cyber Monday. And any word on what the hot gifts will be this year? Once again, mobile phones, iPhone 6, 6 +, we know that. But then we've got the wearable devices, so maybe a little Apple watch for that certain So many years. Special future. FItBits are really big. Those are kind of the adult gifts. Now we go into the toy area. This is so wild for someone like me. Look, I'm a lot older than you but these names are insane. We're talking Star Wars all over again. So Toys R Us said basically anything with Star Wars around that is going to be a hot toy.

Barbie is back. Can you imagine? I never had Barbie's. I liked the van, but I never liked Barbie's themselves. And we also know that Legos are really big. The thing about toys is there's always a limited quantity, right? And you don't wanna miss it. So again, according to Adobe they say the best day to buy toys it's the Saturday before Thanksgiving. Really? That way you can ensure you can get your little baby the perfect present. Anything else to keep in mind? Well look, I know the people do feel weird about shopping earlier and earlier. On the other hand, I like people going through their budgets and making sure they stay on track.

And if you can get a better deal by sneaking off for an hour or two, it won't be so terrible. Take yourself off the hook. Great, well thanks so much for joining us. Great to be with you. [ MUSIC ]
