## Transcript

It wasn't long ago that we got a peak at a Century old time capsule removed from the old State House in Massachusetts .

>> But, the one crews excavated Thursday half a mile away is much older. Buried in 1795. Adding to the intrigue, it was Paul Revere and Samuel Adams who put it there. Local reporters who were on hand to take a peek at the green capsule which had to be removed from surrounding stone. Workers repairing the water leak found the cigar box size capsule. But what's inside? Well, we don't really know yet since it hasn't been opened for the public. But, going off of historical records. We know what's supposed to be in it. The question is that is the coins and some of the artifacts from 1795, I think the fact the box seems to be in such good shape.

Suggested they'll probably been pretty well preserved as well. But the copper box the contents are in now isn't the original container which was cow hide. See this time capsule has been opened before in 1855 actually when it was removed and some of the contents transferred. Next stop for the capsule is a trip to the museum of fine arts for x- rays. It won't be opened until next week. After that, the capsule will be reburied. But state officials say they don't know yet whether they plan to add anything to the box first.
