>> A co- worker just called me right now. She's like, " Did you buy your ticket at the Chevron ?" I was like, " No ." She was, " Oh my god, someone just hit it there ." Crazy, it could have been me.

>> The sole winning ticket sold here, at a Chevron gas station in Milpitas, California. But the real magic number $ 425 million actually looks more like $ 227. 8 million. That's if the winner decides to take his or her prize in the form of a lump sum. Either way, $ 425 million is the 6th biggest jackpot in lottery history. The biggest Powerball ever was just last year. A $ 590 million won from a ticket sold in Florida. For the record, the Multi- State Lottery Association says, the chances of landing with this jackpot were 1 in 175 million. No word yet on who Wednesday's lucky winner is, but we're thinking the Bay Area might be a good place to be if you're looking to boost your chances.
