I was playing a Yankee soldier today, and it was a Fun shoot. It was my first video shoot ever. I had a lot of fun today.

[ MUSIC ] I came up with this crazy idea of shooting the video on the edge of a civil war battle. Feeling the sound, just felt like an old war to me. [ SOUND ] We're gonna have to start pounding some coffee in order to get through this thing and, we have a show tomorrow in Washington D. C. but the good news is our bus is here so we get to sleep. And our driver has a gun. I'm Nicole Patrick I am playing the love interest of one of the soldiers that going to combat and I'm very sad that he's losing me. [ MUSIC ] Hey I'm Luke Taylor Panling, playing a rebel. [ MUSIC ] Well, I'm from Long Island and I'm part of the 915 year Company C.

I've been re- enacting for about seven years now. The fan fun of coming down to Pennsylvania. For an event and they ask a whole bunch of us if we could come up. I've been in a good many moving picture films. I've never been in a. In a music video before. And that, that sounds like it would be fun. I took a day off from class. And called me pa down. And the two of us came and here we be. The actions big [ CROSSTALK ] Keeping it work. Thank you. It's a pretty ambitious idea to try to capture the intensity of a pre and post war scene. I think that as he's really telling it right now. Now. [ MUSIC ] It's like a giant camping trip, you know?

You get to hang out, sleep out, then you end up getting to shoot guns. I shot a little crown and that's a [ INAUDIBLE ]. Now any rifle that has an eagle on it. That's a Springfield. The interesting thing is that's actually a rebel uniform, this is confederate. This is early 1861. This would have been a militia uniform. You can tell by the buttons. This is a Virginia button. [ MUSIC ] People are getting killed, people are, I mean, it's on back here. [ UNKNOWN ] look at this, look, turn around. [ CROSSTALK ] [ NOISE ] Left right. [ NOISE ] There you go. Look at that. [ MUSIC ] David Zazar from our label puts together all of our videos.

Seems really happy. And we got the up most respect for him. He seems really excited and that really fits him. [ MUSIC ] I gotta say. These guys and this record, and the way that they perform. And, and the look in their eyes. And the performance is so authentic. And it comes from such a deep place that, for me. And my job is to put the camera on them. I, you know, it made my life easier. [ MUSIC ] Have you guys ever seen Aviator? Love it. No. It's good. I heard it's good. Is that the one where they can't catch him even if they tried? No, that's Catch Me If You Can. [ CROSSTALK ] What you're, what you're thinking of is, is Titanic.

[ CROSSTALK ] [ UNKNOWN ] [ CROSSTALK ] No, that's the one where he, he thinks he's insane [ INAUDIBLE ] No, no, no, you're thinking of the one where it's him and Mark Wahlberg is in it. Alec Baldwin, Jack Nicholson's No. You guys are thinking of that sitcom that had um, Robin Thicke's dad. Oh. [ CROSSTALK ] My favorite [ INAUDIBLE ] movie. Yeah, yeah. Why, I [ INAUDIBLE ]. Oh, it's not gonna get better than this. [ LAUGH ] [ MUSIC ] As you can see, I'm super wet. But, I was out in the rain. It's a wrap. Thank you. Great work!
