Think again. At least 18 countries have rented out buildings and put up pavilions to illustrate their diverse cultures, to say nothing of doing some old fashioned business at the Olympic houses. It's the first time in the history of Czech Republic when the Olympic house is widely open to the fans and everyone is welcome. Not just Czech fans but also local people. Everyone is welcome here, and I think there is a lot of things to do. A lot of entertainment. And fun, and as you can see, the basketball tournament is taking place here. Big screens for watching sports disciplines during whole day. Thousands of people are, are coming each day, so we are very excited about it. [ MUSIC ] At previous Olympics, Czech House was closed to the public. But in London, the doors are wide open to fans who have been able to glimpse famous Czech faces such as footballists Petr Cech and Tomas Rosicky. What's more, they've been lining up to try and snipe some last minute games tickets. And if you still needed persuading, it's worth coming along just to witness the simply awesome double decker London bus designed by avant garde Czech artist David Cerny. [ MUSIC ] We want to show that the Olympic Games are not just about sports. But about mixing people, about gathering, about entertainment. And that's everything that the Czech House can offer. And that is also why, that Czech House was announced by the prestigious Associated Press agency as the best, Olympic house here in London during this Olympics. So it's very exciting and we are very proud of this honor. Sochi house is extremely keen to get the tone right. Located in the stunning Kensington Gardens, just a stone's throw from the Royal Alberts Hall. The 2014 Winter Olympics host is showcasing high tech interactive digital experiences, as well as an ice arena which is staging the biggest ever spectacular done outside of Russia. It stars six Olympic champions and 18 world champions. And you can guess where they all come from. But pulling out all of the stops, which can't have been hurt by it's $ 4. 6 million budget, is Swiss House, which is using space both indoors and out. I think that this is nation houses, as long as they are open for public, they're the winning spirit of the Olympic games. That people from all over the world have the, the chance to, to, to meet each other. Not only for watching sports, but also to, to learn from each other. To see what actually, Switzerland's offering, other than just alps and, and, and lakes and, and, the, the pristine landscape whatever, that's also other sides different. [ MUSIC ] Roger Federer hung out here after his tennis final and could have enjoyed concerts, some traditional cheese or chocolate, or even checked out a poster exhibition. I think the relationship between London and Sochi helped at least, a little bit by this exhibition. To be, by putting together at least six designers from Sochi and London, there is some kind of exchange, already. If the other houses start being in the same way, that they, they offer kind of insight in the country. It's a good way to, to, to bring people together and to, to learn from each other, to see from each other what they are doing.
