You may have heard of it. It's called Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. >> This place has known magic. Very dark, very powerful. >> Thank you so much for being with us Daniel. >> Not at all, thank you for giving me the [ unk ] to talk to you about this [ unk ] project of mine. >> We have from Utra Ushana from Des Plaines, Illinois. She wants to know how different are you from Harry? >> I think I am probably quite different from Harry. I mean, I don't know. It's interesting 'cause Harry is one of those people who finds himself in those situations, which define you as a person. >> Has to do this. >> Fight back, you coward. Fight back. >> It's those moments that you go, " Would I have the guts to do that? [ unk ] to try ?" And Harry finds himself on those moments a lot and I've never found myself more than I am pleased to say 'cause then as far as I'm concern, I'm the bravest man in the world and I would do all these brave things. >> And you've grown up with this character? >> And I've grown up with this character so it's kinda hard sometime-- I mean, there are things I really like about Harry. I mean, I think he's a very similarly, you know, we both-- neither of us particular wear hats and sleeves a lot of time. I think we both quite reserved in terms of how we much we saw and how we fail in things like that. And I think also we have a curiosity and also the value of friendship in both of our lives is an immense. >> Susan Bevens, Winter Park, Florida, she asked, what do you think has been Harry's greatest misstep or failure and judgment? >> You know what? I haven't really thought about that. I think Harry is-- I think Harry is a [ unk ] character. You know, I think he is can be quite selfish and quite advert and really manipulative. But he's not all sweetness in light. And, yeah, so I supposed the biggest misjudgment would have to be the way he treated his friends earlier on in the series was a mark of fallibility for Harry certainly. >> Question from Frank Hebrant, Cincinnati Ohio. The Harry Potter films have given you a chance to work with an extra- ordinary number of British acting royalty; Maggie Smith, Richard Harris, John Hurt. Which ones have had the greatest affect on you? >> The two that have had the biggest fight and that would be Gary Oldman, who were became very, very close to and adore as an actor and a man. And also Imelda Staunton, she's just-- they are both wonderful people and wonderful actors and Gary Oldman was very, very sad when he die and have to leave the series but I have an amazing moment there 'cause I went [ unk ] and he said, " I already have this [ unk ] story ." She always in this being the-- so wonderful and human for somebody-- who's the most talented actor I can possibly imagine. And he said, " Do you think I'm not gonna get serious? Yes, you've been amazing Gary ." And he said, do not think-- somebody else. I need to name an actor but I don't think I should [ unk ] would have been better. And I said, " No, you're fantastic and then when we say goodbye it clearly-- it was amazing 'cause working with me had meant it also to him and he is one of my heroes and to know that you've actually have an affect one of your idols is like, that's when you feel like a dream has come true. >> Paige Hunter from San Antonio, Texas wants to know what is your favorite story from backstage working on Harry Potter? >> Probably one of my proudest moments on Harry Potter was when I was 11 and I walked up to Richard Harris, he didn't know his lines for that day and was claiming that he had been given the wrong scenes to learn and which is not. And I went up to him and in the moment of what I can only describe as 11- year- old politic- diplomacy genius went up to him and said, " Excuse me Mr. Harris, I'm having some trouble. Would you mind running my lines with me ?" And in effort to try again to read it again and I think that's the smartest thing I probably ever done in my life. I peaked way too soon and I know that man, he even remotely has impressive since. >> If you could use any of the magical spells from Harry Potter, which one would you choose? This is from Sohimi Desai in San Diego California. >> Well, I know of a spell. I was seeing about this-- there's one when [ unk ] which makes him levitate and I think you can also float in the water, which would be handy 'cause I'm quite not [ unk ], I kinda quite lazy and so if, you know, when the remote control to stop a little bit far away and you can just-- well, but actually then, hold on. What if the one goes too far away? >> What about the lucky potion? >> That's not a spell, that's a potion. >> You were right. >> You really do listen to the question, this is good. >> I do, yeah. I would-- if I could choose any magical thing to do it would definitely be the love potion. It would be fantastic. It's such a-- it's a wonderful idea, it's just-- >> Everyday a little bit. >> No, not every day 'cause if you have it too much, apparently it screws you up but I just to have the idea of having that perfect day. >> Francis Taylor, Sarnia, Canada wants to know. What do you think about the way J. K. Rowling formed the plots of the books? >> I think it's, you know, it's incredible obviously, it's inspired, otherwise, they wouldn't have done neatly as well as they have. They have taken the best kind of bits of literature, you know. It's, again, it's the latest in the long line kind of orphan literature, that has bit of mythology, that has English boarding school, that has all these the good versus evil things, that has all these fans in it, revenge absolutely, yeah. Completely. >> True love. >> Yes. Absolutely. The love isn't interesting for Harry though 'cause love for Harry has got really closed association with death 'cause it's what, that his mother's love saved him and it's all a bit with [ unk ]. He's [ unk ]. But, no. And the answers to your original question, yes. I love the way J. K.
