## Transcript

For your late night highlight, a preview of the changing of the guards. Steven Colbert stopped by as a guest on the Late Show Tuesday night. Getting in some laughs with the man who's now officially his predecessor and of course they had to take a selfie. Is this still what people do? [ LAUGH ] No this is actually very retro now. [ LAUGH ] There it is [ SOUND ] Yes indeed. Colbert did post the photo to Twitter with a hilariously inaccurate caption. Looks like Colbert will be a natural fit. He even has a history with the show. He told Dave in 1997 he applied to be a writer on the show. Months later he was contacted, but he already had another job at that point.

and he was once offered a late show internship, but he didn't take it because it didn't pay. We're guessing he'll get solid paycheck now. Thanks for watching, I'm Cliff Judy.
