Bill Cosby's fall from grace continues. This time Fordham University rescinded an honorary degree it gave Cosby back in 2001. The degree was originally awarded for Cosby's role in improving black representation on On television. But Cosby obviously no longer has the iconic fatherly image that made him famous, that's because literally dozens of women has come forward claiming he drugged and sexually assaulted them. The decision to. To take away Cosby's honorary degree came in an unanimous vote from the school's board of trustees. This is the first time Fordham has taken away a honorary degree. The schools president, Joseph M.

McShane explained the reasoning in a statement. That Mr. Cosby was willing to drug and rape women for his sexual gratification, and further damage those same women's reputations and careers to obscure his guilt, hurt not only his victims, but all women, and is beyond the pale. Cosby is currently not facing any criminal charges.
