## Transcript

>> I'm Dan Fletcher, this is Steve Snyder. Here's what's trending around the web this week. 50 Cent.

>> 50 Cent man, I think he has the diet for me.

>> 50 Cent did pretty intense diet actually to prepare for an upcoming movie role. He walked on the treadmill for 3 hours a day and he had an all- liquid diet. Now Steve, you're the movie guy. Is he gonna win an Oscar for this transformation?

>> Well, I don't-- transformations I think once people are so well- established kind of freak people out.

>> I mean 50 Cent has this whole thug rapper thing going and now he looks like a really skinny God.

>> I think you could be in a month.

>> No. Like 54. So Steve, did you leave Facebook on Monday?

>> I didn't leave Facebook. I didn't even realize that was the actual official day there's been so much talk about it though.

>> Monday was quit- Facebook day.

>> Uh- hmm

>> Lots of people were upset about the privacy settings, lots of people who were upset feeling their information wasn't protected.

>> But did you quit?

>> No, I mean, no one quit Facebook. That was sort of the thing, is that this thing was a buzz.

>> Well, who decided that quit- Facebook that would be a holiday whenever I'm just traveling and barbecuing anyway.

>> Yeah, Facebook survives. So Steve, you didn't quit Facebook, are you still on Twitter?

>> Still on Twitter, still appreciating. I mean this week there were all these fake satirical Twitter Feeds this week.

>> Apparently, everyone is creating global PR department for sort of in battled--

>> Companies in trouble.

>> Countries and companies. So we've got BP Global PR, which is the one that has a ton of followers that's making news this week.

>> My favorite tweet there, you could see the whole gallery on newsfeed but there is one way they're pretended like they're at lunch and someone spilled soup on the pants like I have no idea how to start dealing with it. You know, any spilled I can't deal with.

>> The other thing with BP in the news this week is everyone is like really eager to give BP a new logo, not like Green Peace actually do a Flickr contest to invite graphic designers to re- imagine the BP logo, only sort of problem with his is they got 200 logos and a lot of them were sort of re- imagining the same thing. I mean, I think every graphic designer in America was like, " Hey, let's take these Green sign and cover it in oil ." And finally, I guess this week, the big thing on Thursday dominating trends is the almost perfect game. I guess technically was a perfect game. So the umpire blue call it first base on the last out that would have given this Detroit Tigers pitcher a perfect game.

But what really impresses me was sort of the pitcher's reaction. I guess the-- ump too. I mean the soon as the game was over, the umpire goes over and says, you know, hey, I blew that one and then the Patriot too his credit did not freak out. Did not throw fit. He just smiled and walk off. I mean, what can you do? A lesson for us all. So those are the trends this week.
