[ MUSIC ] Mayberry, N. C ., has been praised as the gold standard of small town living since 1960. We're from Mayberry. Like Money's Best Places To Live, it represents Represents the ideal for small town life. A tight- knit community where people take pride in their town. Mayberry remains the small town ideal, even working its way into a Neil Young song. [ MUSIC ] Forrest Gump's sleepy Alabama hometown brought him success and love. We lived about a quarter mile off Route 17, about a half mile from the town of Greenbo Alabama. That's in the county of Greenbo. But most of all, it filled him with pride.

Go home to Greenbow, Alabama! No matter where life took Forest, to him it was the greatest place on earth, and the perfect place to raise his son. Weren't impressed. I don't [ INAUDIBLE ] Mother, daughter duo Lorelei and Rory Gilmore called Stars Hollow, Conn. home. I would like to bring to the floor for For discussion the possible negative ramifications of the inn owner and diner owner dating. Oh, that's us. This tiny town has colorful characters. Look at this french toast, pancakes, buttermilk pancakes you stole my menu. You did not invent pancakes Luke. And fights any excuse to gather for a celebration.

Just because its decorative. Doesn't mean it's not sharp. The Simpsons put Springfield on the map. Just don't ask what state it's in. You see the four states that border Springfield, Ohio, Nevada, Maine, and Kentucky. Like any good community, Springfield supports the arts, And scientific advancements. [ SOUND ] And encourages traditional values and strong morals. You tried your best, and you failed miserably. The lesson is, never try. Not exactly Mayberry, but for America's favorite four- fingered family, it's home. [ MUSIC ]
