The international tennis federation, has come down hard on Sharapova after a failed failed drug test in january. One of the world's biggest tennis star, has been suspended for 2 years for testing positive for maldonium It's a huge blow for the sport as Sharapova is a former top ranked player and one of just ten women ever to complete the career grand slam. Most recently winning the French open two years ago. Wednesday's ruling said she did not intend tend to cheat before full responsibility and very significant fault for the positive test. Sharapova can appeal the two- year ban to the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
