## Transcript

It's, it's very strange just how much a simple television show about a bunch of obnoxious singing, dancing kids yet what an impact they can have on people's lives. But yet sometimes people just, they just need to see themselves in, in another light. But most importantly, to all the amazing kids that watch our show, and the kids that our show celebrates, who are constantly told no by the people in their environments, by bullies at school, that they can't be who they are, or have what they want because of who they are. Well, screw that, kids. Thank you. I mean, I don't even remember saying it, so I, I'm but, but people have been, been loving what I said.

And and I, I think I just needed to thank the kids that, that I was representing on the show. And, and, and let them know that I, I was, I've been, I'm always thinking about them. I think bullying has probably been one of the Oldest issues ever. I mean you read about, you know, things in, in history where people were bullied and, and and teased, and I don't think there's ever been a time in, in the world where someone hasn't, you know, been made, made fun of by someone else. I think finally now, it's, it's reached a point where we realize that we can change it and we can prevent it. And I think Lee has really helped educate people and on the, the harm that it can do.

I just, I'm not really afraid to, to be my awkward self. And I know there's lots, and lots of other people just like me out there that are awkward themselves. And and I think they just appreciate that I, that I'm not afraid to say the weird things that I say and Tweet the obnoxious things that I, that I Tweet. But I mean, I, I've tried being other people, and myself suits me the, the best. But, I, I think it's just, you know, you just be honest. I think people respond to honesty.
