## Transcript

I'm declaring a state of emergency for the District of Columbia. DC public schools will be closed tomorrow and it will be our recommendation to DC public charter schools to also close. Unless you absolutely have to be out tomorrow afternoon, residents and commuters should get home as early as possible On Friday. During the storm and immediately after it passes, I strongly encourage residents to avoid the roads until they are safe and cleared.
