## Transcript

Here's this week's travel and leisure news roundup. This week, yet another airline introduced new add- on fees for travelers. Denver based Frontier Airlines announced it started charging for putting carry on bags in overhead bins. The company's move is seen as a way to compete with other low cost airlines. It says its ticket prices by 12 % as of April 28th, but the add- on fees still make flights more expensive. Though, the new policies aren't a big surprise. Frontier's new president, Barry L. Biffle is a former executive of Spirit's, which began charging for carry ons in 2010. Next up a Google self driving cars stick to the highways years ago, but what about city driving?

Surely bicyclists, busy intersections, and railroad crossings are obstacles the computer can't fully understand, right? Well, take a look. We have taught the vehicle to recognize and navigate through construction zones. Our sensors spot the orange signs and cones early to alert the car of the lane blockage ahead and we can change lanes safely. That's just one of the examples, Google released in a video last week saying the self- driving vehicles have logged 700, 000 miles, calling autonomous driving an achievable goal. Now, if you're ready for sun and fun in Spain and you're headed to one particular resort island, make sure you pack your one- piece.

An ordinance closed to being passed in Mallorca Islands capital city Palma would ban bikinis in public. Residents have complained about scantily clad tourists known to frequent the destinations, galleries, and stylish hotels. With high season coming New York City, based Ovation Vacations points out Mallorca and nearby Island Ibiza are growing more popular than ever. President Jack Eason called Ibiza a driving force behinds Spain growth. See mallorca. com reports fines for violating the bikini ban could be up to 600 Euros. And last, May is bike month. Just a few examples of great options around the country for riding.

Salt Lake City will hold its annual bike prom. Car Centric LA has 40 miles of bike lanes around the city with plans. For 200 more, and Indianapolis has an eight mile cultural trail winding through cool sights downtown. Have fun guys. Thanks for watching, I'm Lauren Garris.
