It's an opportunity to extend the rights, the responsibility, the capacity for people to get married, to express their love, to a long, committed, stable relationship. Obviously that's good for gay and **** people, but actually it's really good for the rest of Irish society. For young gay people growing up to know that if they meet someone, fall in love and want to commit to marriage, that's going to be available for them as it is available for their heterosexual brothers and sisters.
