## Transcript

[ MUSIC ] As North America's top meeting and trade show destination, and with more than 42 million visitors per year. There's always a lot going on in Las Vegas And on October 19th 2016, Las Vegas' ability to keep up was put to the test, with the city hosting the final presidential debate before the election. [ MUSIC ] It's been a very interesting year for us here at IMEX America, the city's very busy, particularly with the presidential Show today. But I have to say it hasn't really effected us or our delegates at all. We have not had any problems with getting our folks to and from our show. The airport proximity to the actual city is just minutes away.

People want to come to Las Vegas. They wanna come here For business, and they also wanna come here to enjoy themselves, as well. With the debate going on here in Vegas, it hasn't really affected out vacation. So we're still enjoying ourselves regardless of the debate or not. If it wasn't advertised, I probably wouldn't have noticed it to be completely honest. The debate is being held out here hasn't changed anything that we've done or where we went or how we got there. When you're walking around here, it's just good old Good Ol Las Vegas but a lot of fun !

>> Whether here for business or pleasure Las Vegas is built to host people. From meetings and conventions, to special events, this city is equipped to handle it all, seamlessly. Which made it the perfect destination for the final presidential debate. I think we were the ideal city because you think about it, we do events. We have more events in Las Vegas in a three day period than most cities have in the course of a Year. This was a great example of how this community comes together to get things done. We not only have the core partner, in the LVCVA, but we're also working with the city. With the county, with the airport, with the RTC.

Las Vegas is unique obviously because we get 40 plus million visitors a year. 10, 000 plus conventions a year. We do right around 3, 500, 4, 000 special events a year. So we're used to dealing with crowds, different kinds of functions, and we do it on a regular basis basis. Great way for the campus and the city to put their best foot forward and show the world just how great we are. And I'm happy to say we had zero issues. We had a very calm environment. And that's a testament to our community. Everybody got to see Las Vegas in a different light. And we really did deliver that business message that serious business does get done in Las Six [ MUSIC ]
