## Transcript

It's a girl, and another girl. Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer is expecting twins this December. Mayer shared the news on her personal blog Tuesday. She wrote in part, moving forward, there will be a lot to do for both my family and for Yahoo Both will require hard work and thoughtful prioritization. Mayer isn't new to motherhood. She gave birth to her first son a mere three months after taking the reigns as top boss at Yahoo in October of 2012. Those first steps into motherhood were heavily scrutinized. She only took two weeks off from work and reportedly built a nursery next to her desk at the office.

But Mayer seemed to handle the scrutiny like a champ. And the baby's been easy. The baby's been way easier than everyone made it out to be, and that is, and I know not, I think I've been really lucky that way, but I had a very easy, healthy pregnancy. In 2013, Mayer extended Yahoo's parental leave Now mothers get 16 weeks paid leave and fathers get 8 weeks paid leave. Parents also get 500 bucks to spend on anything they like. She also banned Yahoo's work from home policy to separate family time and work time. Both moves got a lot of feed back. But according to Mayer's blog post she probably won't be taking those sixteen weeks off.
