## Transcript

[ MUSIC ] There's a venue in Australia called the Oxford Art Factory. I remember seeing bands play there growing up and being like it would be so sick to play in a band to play at that venue. We played Coachella a few years ago, and that was, that took us over the other side of the world to play in the states. I guess if you'd told the old versions of ourselves that that was possible we'd have been like, we would have laughed. I mean, that's ridiculous. [ MUSIC ] Air track music doesn't need to be [ MUSIC ] Strictly electronic and we played with that idea for a long time, we had the live jams and we'd sort of have this back and forth and cool energy between us.

[ MUSIC ] We wrote our first record on the coast of Australia, the second one in Berlin, and when we were choosing where to write the third record we all went, let's do it in L. A. Immersing yourself in a new space inherently, kind of, opens you up to more creative decisions. Or puts you in a, kind of, uncomfortable space, I think, in the best way possible. [ MUSIC ] [ MUSIC ] In the studio, we were able to get this shaman in. [ LAUGH ] Yeah. Who had created these different worlds for us in the studio. He had all these fabrics up, and [ MUSIC ] Sand and all these different corners of the earth.

Shells. The water color. The ocean. Yeah, we were definitely inspired by that, it takes you to another planet. [ MUSIC ] And that's where the music started to go through us. [ MUSIC ] We played an electric forest in the same And a person from the crowd just in tears during the song. And we watch someone just experience this song in one little go at the front of the barrier. And watching them cry like you get to relieve that song again. I think it's really cool having an ability to channel A point of your life into something that can then perhaps transmit that feeling to someone else. So they can find solace in or whatever it is they want to find in something that you've made so that's like a really enriching experience I think and yeah I see us doing.

I mean for me at least, I could see us doing this for a long time. [ MUSIC ]
