## Transcript

Although we had a formal bidding process to determine where the presidential library was going to be. [ LAUGH ] The fact of the matter was it had to be right here on the south side of Chicago. The thing that is most exciting to us is To create an institution that will train the next generation of leadership. The Michelle LaVaughn Robinson's of today. And the Barack Obama's of today. So that they can take up the torch And lead the process of change in the future. And that's why we're calling this a presidential center. And that is why, as many of you saw when you walked in and you saw the design, it's not just a single building but it's more like a campus.

In designing it. We have talked to the University of Chicago and the city about this possibility, and it's just a possibility. And that is this area right here, currently it's at the end of the midway and it's just a big dip. You could build a Underground parking garage here that is landscaped on top. Have a little recreational area on top of it, put some barbecue grills. [ LAUGH ] No, it. Why are you laughing? That's what we do. Family reunions? We don't have any folks who grill here? I thought this was the south side of Chicago.
