## Transcript

Lilly, Bimbo and their other four- legged friends know this path very well. At the end, there's a beach, their beach. The Bau beach is one of the few places in Italy which welcomes both dogs and their owners. [ UNKNOWN ] Came up with the idea in 1998. Tired of seeing dog walkers unable to visit public beaches with their animals [ FOREIGN ] What we do here is we try to give them the chance to be themselves and also give them a bit of dignity. Here the golden rule is freedom. No lead or muzzles are allowed. Here the dogs can play in the shallow waters. Or even jump the waves. There's also a circuit and dog parasols to keep cool in the heat.

It's Nora's first time and her owner Elisa adopted her just six months ago. [ FOREIGN ] I don't see any great difference between man and dog, they too need freedom to play like children, like human beings. [ FOREIGN ] The bond between you and your dogs grow stronger, because when they're having fun. When they're swimming or with other dogs, when they're happy, so are you. Entry costs 4 Euros on weekdays and 5 Euros at the weekend. Included is a doggy bag of snacks, as well as a good wash when they leave. All breeds are allowed and it's been Boe Patricia's dog who makes sure they all get along.

[ FOREIGN ] Of course if there's a Pit Bull or a Rottweiler I'll be more careful, because an angry Rottweiler does more damage does more damage than an angry Pincher. But there both free to annoy the others. When it comes to hygiene, special products are used to keep the beach clean. A must, considering hundreds of dogs come here everyday to get their ocean kicks.
