Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin are splitting up after a decade of marriage. The actress revealed the news on her site, goop, Tuesday, writing, it is with hearts full of sadness that we have decided to separate. We have been working hard for well over a year, some of it together, some of it separated, to see what might have been possible between us, and we have come to the conclusion that, while we love each other very much, we will remain separate. Paltrow and Martin, the frontman for Coldplay, have remained relatively private about their relationship over the last few years. They have rarely made joint public appearances.

The couple met in 2002 and wed one year later in a small ceremony. Their first child was born in 2004. Rumors of cheating on Paltrow's part have graced the tabloids more than once, and her reps have spoken out publicly to debunk some of those rumors. And last May, she told Glamour UK, she and Martin were like any other couple, and that they had gone through great and terrible times. That post on Paltrow's website was signed by both her and Martin. The couple have two children together, Moses and Apple. I'm Candice Aviles.
