## Transcript

Welcome to the PageCast. It's Saturday, September 27th. I'm Mark Halperin in Memphis with your three things to watch for in politics today. First, watch to see how the Friday night debate plays out. Watch to see what storylines stay alive with aspects of the two campaigns and the candidates out on the trail choose to emphasize. Second, watch to see if the final deal emerges on the financial bailout in Washington and how that reverberates down on the campaign trail, what the two campaigns say about a final deal and how long will they go without taking a firm decision on what they think of the deal.

And then finally, watch to see what kind of message the campaigns try to drive independent of the debate and of the financial deal, both campaigns of course, having to talk a lot about those events. Watch to see if that is still what the press focuses on or whether the campaigns try to drive a different message on a different topic in a different connection. Those are your three things to watch for in politics today. You can get all the political news all the time right here on The Page. For now in Memphis on just a few hours sleep, I'm Mark Halperin. Thanks for watching the PageCast.
