Thank you time for treating a time and space for this connection in the honesty of the Sharon that's happening here tonight, and thank you and congratulations to all of you. I work for NASA and NASA's mission is to explore the unknown in Erin's face. To innovate for the benefit of humanity in to inspire the world through Discover. And my little slice of that I got to be a part of this amazing Expedition we have on this laboratory. We built in space called the International Space Station. I launched on November 16th 2020 and returned on May 2nd 2021. I know what you're thinking. It was a great time to leave.

But my wife and you know being in space I was saturated. I wasn't there for a quick trip. I live in there so long that it felt like home and have all the amazing things the words about our mother earth. So hit me in my chest Twilight is one of my favorite things to see in the transition from day tonight at 9 today because our Earth is so rich and so beautiful. One of the things that really caught me off-guard was just how amazing the dark can be you look up in the sky now and what you see is dark blue, but you have to get above the atmosphere to see the black. Play only when it's night on the earth and that sky is Pitch Black the true black the absence of anything else.

Can you see the stars? Even when the light is up is still there. It was stars are there and when I look around this room tonight, I see bright lights bright lights and I want a toast you and your courage your work inspiring Humanity through faith through food through ART film music Community Development your activism your service your passion. Totaline on the poet William Shakespeare when he said so shines a good deed in a naughty world. I just want to encourage you to keep shining keep shining and so I'm going to actually raise my glass to you. Thank you for what you do.
