## Transcript

For your late night highlight, Johnny Depp stopped by The Late Show. Just minutes after David Letterman announced his retirement from the show. Johnny joked that he was going to announce his own retirement that night. But said David completely stole the spotlight with his announcement. But the actor had some real news to dish about too, his engagement to actress Amber Heard, and the giant rock he gave her. You have an engagement ring. I do. I have a female engagement ring. It was too big for my girl. Really. [ LAUGH ] Yeah. It's a grown man wearing a woman's engagement ring. [ LAUGH ] It looks fine.

Because it fit. News of the happy couple's engagement broke back in January when a sneaky paparazzi spotted Amber trying to hide that monster sparkler. But Johnny didn't officially confirm anything until earlier this week. No word on when Johnny and Amber plan to head down the aisle, or why they don't just get that ring resized for her. Thanks for watching. I'm Cliff Judy.
