## Transcript

Let me be very clear. I have nothing to hide as it relates to out run the agency the past sixteen months I'm not afraid to admit that there's been a learning process in when congress. Or independent bodies of oversight on thought and our decision making. I want to correct that in insure that it does not happen again. Ultimately the men as they administered EPA. The responsibility for identifying and making changes necessary. Rests with me in no one else without being set. Facts are facts and fiction is fiction and allied is in the country is just because it appears the front page of the newspaper.

I'm confident that these investigations will affirm what I've come to believe is true. That sure unfit to hold public office and undeserving of the public trust. And I don't say those words. You know because I particularly dislike you were. Or were you know. Hold you in ill repute I just think that every indication we have is that. You really should resign and you are undeserving of the public trust. It has been reported that at least five EPA employees were recently reassigned demoted or otherwise retaliated against it after they raised concerns about your spending. Is that correct yes or no.

I don't ever call conversation. Well it and I'll take that as a yes you remove the head of the EPA office that found that you did not face direct death threats. Hasn't always been your practice to fire people who disagree with this Carson the inspector general himself. As noted that the threat is uniting it and yes or no so offers them. The quantity and the type of threats. And is on the record saying so the united responsibly for 40000 dollars it that was spent and you're officers shamed its staff did it without your knowledge career individuals at the agency took that process through and signed off on an all the way through.

OK so you were not involved in that I was not involved in the approval of the 43000 dollars in a five known about congressman. I would have refused it based on your record should the public trust your decision making here with. The hypocrisy that. That would exist in the system he defied this is actually support that transparency for all rule making the agency does not individual decisions made that administers this program offices making decision air rules that are based on transparent here I think this boils down to issue up front. And you've developed a system where you're picking winners and losers we hit the public against the industry or your picking favorites within the industry.

And I think there is hypocritical outcome to all.
