## Transcript

Well, this is about women who have. San Francisco acknowledges us for what we've done already. But to put this on sort of a national stage really does make a profound difference. And I hope it inspires cities across the country and the globe to do the same. Oh, yeah, It's been great. The drag community is very, very political minded, very much part of the San Francisco fundraising culture. So there's a lot of power for the drag community in San Francisco, and I feel very honored to be able to take that one more step. Have you ever been to a drag show before? I'm really proud of what San Francisco has done to really opened its heart and its minds to accepting drag as a artform and as something that brings people together and something that celebrates community and also really puts a smile on your face.

And let's give it up for the gorgeous taxi driver. And really, that's one of the things I appreciate about Dorothy is the fact that she's not willing to go and hide. She thinks it's important to continue to knock down barriers and put yourself out there, and that gives other people the opportunity to feel safe and to put themselves out there as well. It is tough nowadays with people trolling you online. I know that there are a lot of anti drag folks out there and they are very loud, right? But I also don't want to live my life, you know, under the shadow of fear. I don't want to have intimidation stop me from growing.

I also can't step down from being part of the drag community growing in this way. So, yes, I am a little nervous, but I got a lot a lot of fabulous people and fabulous ness behind me. If we sparkle harder and we really bring to the table the joy that is drag, I think that is a sound that can't really be silenced. Here we got lots of our drag.
