## Transcript

So much of our show, you know, you shoot so close to all of us. And what that allows you to do as an actor is, really try to discover, like an inner life and trust that the camera is like a very sensitive instrument and that the camera will sort of, like, pick up something if you're feeling it, and it's like honest and true. And so I think I found a lot of, like, trust in myself as a performer to not kind of, like, force or push that, if something real is happening with you, you know, the audience will feel it at the camera will pick it up. So yeah, I think that's a great lesson learned in this time.

Well, I think a lot about especially women of color who have come before me and didn't get opportunities like this, even though they've definitely deserve them even more so. And so it makes me feel very good to know that more people, you know, not I don't know. Have other groups and other elks can have the same happen for them sooner and better. Yeah. We wouldn't have a hospitality industry here. You know, you wouldn't eat another salad, you know, without us. And so those stories Like, just look at the person standing beside you. There's so much, and I love that. I love that Tina is is not dispensable.

She's not invisible for now, and that people feel seen. People are telling me that they have A Tina in their restaurant, that they have A Tina in their family, and that's the highest compliment. Filmmaking has gotten really like, like, a bit more impressionistic, a bit more poetic. It's nice. It's like a beautiful luxury to sort of not have to be a slave to like, like, exposition and sort of, like, sort of traditional character structure, traditional, like film like coverage and stuff. And they just, like, it's become I don't know, like, hopefully, a more pure creative expression of Christopher Store's vision, and the rest of us as our little company that makes this thing.

Like, to me, I'm inspired that, like, ok, writer and like, acting driven stuff, that's not very sexy or, you know, it's all very based in our world and family based. To me, that's where the good stuff is, and it makes me hopeful, cautiously optimistic that it will inspire other shows to, follow the path of that.
