## Transcript

Apple just announced new iPods and the new Apple TVs. Should you run out, and buy them all right now? Well, let's just calm down and take a look at this rationally and calmly. I'll give you some buying advice. The new fourth- generation iPod shuffle. Now, the second- generation iPod shuffle, people really like it. It was very small, it had buttons on it. Third- generation iPod shuffle was even smaller, but it had no buttons on, and people didn't really like not having buttons. Now, this fourth- generation iPod shuffle looks a lot like the second- generation iPod shuffle. There's not a whole lot of new technology here.

They kinda just smashed the second and third generation together. Not that impressive. Now, the iPod Nano, on the other hand, has gone completely touchscreen. It's a square- shaped-- it looks very slick. It's got the multi- touch. You can use two fingers to twist the screen in certain orientations. This one's gonna be pretty good. And then, the iPod Touch. Apple's done a nice job with this. It's basically an iPhone 4 without AT & T. You got the high resolution Retina display, you have a rear- facing HD video camera, you have a front- facing video camera that you can use for FaceTime. And of course, all the apps.

Apple's new A4 processors in there. It's nice and speedy, and it's very, very thin. And then, there's Apple TV. Apple has gone completely away from the idea of downloading content to keep with the Apple TV, and gone completely to the streaming rental model. As far as TV shows, 99 cents per episode, and the only content available at launch will be from ABC and Fox. I don't like it. I don't like it. Now, granted you can stream content from your computer to Apple TV. So, in theory, you'll be able to purchase the episodes outright through iTunes to your computer, and then stream them to your Apple TV.

But the emphasis on the Apple TV is simplicity. I don't know. Maybe it's just me. I don't want you to think like I'm this huge anti- Apple guy. But I'm definitely-- I'm watching you, Apple. Your Jedi mind tricks don't work on me. I just made myself job at a [ unk ]. That's not good.
