Maybe. Maybe I just turned 11 and I was already. I was immediately in this grotesque pain and was just leveled, just barreled over like someone was squeezing me, you know, tight from the inside. And, um, and I'd watched my mom go through it. I'd watched my mom laying on the bathroom floor in pain, and I just thought, it's my turn. It was crippling, and it completely took me out of life so many times. There's a lot of just go on birth control and that'll, you know, help the symptoms and shut up. Basically, you just feeling your own pain, being in your own body and you're wondering, am I being dramatic? You really start to question yourself. It makes you feel like you're going crazy and you stop talking about it. You stop complaining about it because even though it's this thing and it's not like it's a one week a month, it's really if you can, if you can get a couple good days a month when you're not in pain, if you have endometriosis, you're lucky. So when I finally got off of birth control, the to, um, to try and conceive, it was, it was brutally painful and pain I wouldn't wish on anyone. Well, maybe a couple people, because it's this invisible war going on in your body. Um, that when the doctor read out all that he found in my body, I was sobbing, I was sobbing, and I was in there with my husband at the time, and it felt really good to be there with my partner to say, you know, see, this isn't me being lazy. This isn't me being, um, dramatic there. I had, I have real medical issues and, and, and a disease happening in me that had just been really isolating and, and to finally have it be acknowledged and be proven. It was a feeling like nothing else. I'm very triggered in general as a woman not being listened to.
