I feel like I'm a part of history. I'm gonna be overwhelmed in support and happiness, because this is really a new chapter for our country, and a new chapter for gender equality. [ MUSIC ] Why is it important to see a woman president? Electing the first Woman president reflects the greatest things about the United States. We have been dominated by this country by a bunch of men who really just can't relate to 50 % of the population, no matter how hard they try. It's gonna mean that we are forming a more perfect union. All men and women are created equal. Little girls are looking up And they're saying, I can be that woman, I can do anything I want to be. As a teacher, I see a lot of girls who go through, especially because I work in a rural area, who think that there's nothing that they can do except be a homemaker. And by her becoming a President, it will set a good role model for the girls. Who will then turn around and maybe actually finish high school. She inspired me, so hope she inspires my daughter. And right now, my daughter can one day believe that she can be president of the United States of America. Would you consider yourself a feminist? Absolutely. Yes, I'm a feminist. Yes, I do consider myself a strong feminist. I just believe in equal rights for everyone. Tell me the definition of feminism in your own words. So feminism means the belief in the political, social, and economic equality of men and women. Well, I'm feminist. I'm feminist. To call yourself a feminist you have to be able to stand in the shoes of someone who's been experiencing discrimination. Until we start having women represent us at all levels, We will not ever have a nation that is truly representative of it's population.
