## Transcript

Technology ressurrects Tu Pac, Ikea gets into gadgets, and something smells like apple. Strap in for the most insanley important mind blowing tech news of the week. I'm Doug Amath. [ MUSIC ] Concertgoers at the Coachella Music Festival this past weekend were treated to a performance by none other than Tupac himself. But Tu Pac was killed in 1996 you say. Well some say that it was a hologram. Some say that it was not technically holography but whatever the case if you want to see someone preform badly enough whether they're alive or not technology is the answer. For the record I love that he seemed to rise up out of the ground as that hologram.

I'm all for this wizardry. Like Tu Pac I'm I will surely die at a tragically young age, but unlike Tupac I will surely die while on a conference call. So, we could do some explaining there. Yeah, great. Do you have anything on the tech front we're watching? Hug Dr. Blair. You might send me a note. Now to my family, friends, and enemies, I've taken the liberty of prerecording myself as a hologram of myself doing the types of things that made my life so rich and fulfilling. Things like making coffee all by myself. Responding to email on a mobile device. Taking phone calls. [ INAUDIBLE ] Sorry, you have the wrong number.

And editing tech med articles. Jared, you sure can spell. [ LAUGH ] Not a single error. I left out the conference call stuff, cause that's what killed me, I don't wanna relive that. [ MUSIC ] This week IKEA unveiled a new line of furniture called Uppleva. And it looks to kill messy cables dead. Built right into the entertainment unit is a web- connected LED- backlit TV, Blu- Ray player, a sound system with a wireless sub woofer, all available in a variety of colors and configurations starting at around $ 1, 000. All these gadgets in one place with no messy cables and. Take it, IKEA lady. Just one remote control.

Just one remote control. [ INAUDIBLE ] All this with just one remote control. Lady, come on. Use your peripheral vision. All this with just one remote control. All this with just one remote control. All this with just one remote control. [ INAUDIBLE ] All this with just one remote control. All this with just one remote control. I'm for hire, IKEA, if you need a little help. And last, but not least, very exciting news. The smell of opening a new Apple product. Has final, finally the bottle as a fragrance. A group of artists teamed with a scent company called Aeraroma to recreate the smell of opening a Macbook Pro by combining fragrances similar to glue, plastic, paper, rubber and aluminum.

The fragrance will be part of an art show in Australia and will not be available for purchase. What? Not available for purchase. We think of the possibilities, scratch and sniff iPod Nano, for kids. Seven great colors nasalutionary smell. I mean, this one's obvious. iChat breathe spray. When it's [ UNKNOWN ] time, don't forget the iChat. And for geeky lovers, this is perfect, iPod Touch scented oil. Only one thing feels like a Touch smells. [ FOREIGN ] Check out those insanely important, mind- blowing tech news stories and more on Techland. All this with just one remote control. Just one remote control.

All this with just the one remote control. [ SOUND ] Oop, it's not that easy.
