Caller is indicating she think's that someone shooting in the building. Little about the investigation has been made public since then and many hoped for answers from a summary report released by Connecticut State Attorney, Monday. Here are three things we learned. First, we'll likely never know the motive. Why did 20 year old Adam Lanza kill his own mother at their Newtown home before driving to nearby Sandy Hook Elementary School where he shot to death 26 people, most of them less than seven years old. The report concludes Lanza acted alone and without a co- conspirator. We did learn a bit more about the shooter though. Teachers who spoke with investigators described a quiet, respectful, but socially withdrawn student, with an obsession with battles, destruction and war. He also had a preoccupation with mass murders over the years. Particularly, the shooting at Columbine High School in 1999. Lanza kept a spreadsheet listing mass murders over the years, and including information about each shooting. Though he had no learning disabilities, he had been diagnosed with Asperger's Disorder. And had extreme anxiety and discomfort with changes, noise and physical contact with others. However, the 48- page report says it's unclear whether there was any connection between Lanza's mental health issues and the attack on Sandy Hook Elementary School. Finally, we learned more about the police response on that December morning last year. According to the report, it took less than four minutes from the time of the first 911 call, to the time of the first police officers arrival. One minute later says the report Lanza killed himself. Monday summary report was just that. A summary. A full police report based off thousands of pages of evidence still has no scheduled release date, but officials say the investigation is now officially closed.
