## Transcript

At least currently, it looks like we're on track for the Chinese Open models to be dominant because of their performance and because of their price. Do you think that should be a concern to people in power in the US? Um I don't know who's going to prevail. Like again, I always go back to like these are open models. They're not uh, I don't attribute them to a particular company or country. Sorry. I like to think of it as this is a competitive ecosystem. Once a model is open, it's there for the world. I can go in and if there's something I don't like about a model, I can train it out of the model.

I can train something into the model, right? I can fine tune it myself, I can do RL on it. And so the models create like sort of like a baseline for you to work off of. And then you can, you can use it as is, or you can, you can modify it for your needs. And so, um, very much like open source. And when we talk about open source software, we don't say, you know, Chinese open source software or, you know, um, like American open source software or European open source software, we call it open source software. And so openness is, is a, is a principle. And, you know, contributors can be across borders.

It's a very vibrant ecosystem. And so I think at the end of the day, we, if we have a very vibrant ecosystem, we have competition. We as consumers generally benefit from that.
