## Transcript

Welcome to the PageCast, for Wednesday, January 30th. I'm Mark Halperin, in Hollywood. Your three things to watch for in politics today. First, in the Republican debate, Wednesday night, watch to see how Mitt Romney deals with John McCain. This debate is his best chance, before Super Tuesday, to reach a big audience, to try to make the contrast message he wants to make. Second, watch to see if Romney puts his money where his ambition is. He's got no television ads on in Super Tuesday's states at least as of Tuesday. Watch to see how much he's willing to spend right now to go up on the air in some Super Tuesday states.

He can't go up in all of them probably, to try to be competitive with John McCain by outspending him with television money. And then finally watch to see that Republican establishment. A lot of them do not like John McCain. Some don't like him. We'll get on board probably today. Watch to see though how the anti- McCain coalition coalesces. You can see a new ad on the page of a group that wants to stop McCain. Watch to see how big that group gets and whether they are able to organize and get behind Mitt Romney in time to stop John McCain before Super Tuesday. Those are your three things to watch for, in politics, today.

You can get all the political news, all day long, right here, on The Page. For now, in Hollywood, I'm Mark Halperin. Thanks for watching the PageCast.
